Niinpä tietysti... moneskohan kerta tämäkin on viimeisen vuoden aikana. On 15th December, UNKLE will release 'End Titles... Redux' as a limited collector's edition of 3000 CDs that will only be available via UNKLE.com. This will also be available digitally from the 14th of December. The release will feature seven re-interpreted tracks from the album 'End Titles... Stories For Film', two new tracks and 'Trouble in Paradise (Variation on a Theme)'. The exclusive package is a 6 panel soft-pack with a 12 page booklet with images by Robert Del Naja.
UNKLE has always worked with classical musicians. In the last four years this has happened more frequently. For 'End Titles... Redux' UNKLE felt there was an opportunity to further work with the orchestral parts of 'End Titles... Stories For Film' by adding new arrangements and remixing to allow a more ambient sound to come through. This has resulted in a predominantly classical body of work.
Tracklisting:

"F*** visuals we're sinking every last penny into the sound system!" - Amon Tobin
Back in early 2007 Amon Tobin released his latest full length album titled Foley Room and put together a tour focusing on the sound and the music, rather then thinking too much about lights, projections and stage antics. After all, this is music.
It's about the sound and the shared experience of being immersed in waves of bass while dissonant collections of rhythm and melody move, confuse, annoy you a bit then move you again. a passionate affair this recording is an attempt to capture not just the music but the atmosphere of the show as a whole.
The long awaited, full-length, official recording of the legendary 2007 Foley Room tour is finally available at www.amontobin.com! Recorded by Studio Brussels at the world famous AB theatre in Belgium - which arguably has the best sound system in Europe. After months of back and forth and despite everyone’s best efforts the mix was in danger of being edited into the ground to accommodate big labels and publishers. Rather than release a compromised version commercially, the decision was made to give it away for free instead. you can download the mix as it was intended to be heard along with the full digital booklet at www.amontobin.com.
That's right, we could have sold you half of it, but instead we are giving you all of it, for free!

Lisää infoa Prodigyn tulevasta albumista:"Invaders Must Die" on myös ennakkotilattavissa. Ching-ching...THE ALBUM IS DONE. It is called INVADERS MUST DIE as you probably know by now. 11 tracks. Its a band album mostly so we can play all the tunes live if we want. Didnt want to have any guest vocalists on this record even though we did do 3 collabs but they didnt feel part of this record -- they may come out later. Dave Grohl plays on "Run with the wolves". He approached me and we pulled that tune out the bag at last minute, fast ferocious tune with evil big electronic riff with Keef on vocals. I also got James from 'Does It Offend You, Yeah?' in to do a bit of additional production on a couple of tunes. "Warriors dance" is on there sounding massive in its final form. Got lots of other beats and pieces left over including a couple of live tunes i know people buzz off so the plan is to put that shit onto an additional disc that will be part of a box set or deluxe - not sure yet but those beats that didnt make the main album need to break out.

Tällainen viesti pamahti sähköpostiin:It's the news we have all been waiting for. We can now tell you the new album is called "Invaders Must Die" and will be released on The Prodigy's imprint, Take Me To The Hospital, through Cooking Vinyl, on March 2nd. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim all feature on the album, which is the first time since the release of Fat Of The Land in 1997. The result is back to their bone shaking best, a collision of old skool rave noise with the stratospheric limits of new technology.

Palkkapäiväkin on juuri nurkilla.

Fuck it, ehkä joku toinen päivä. Hieman homahtava tunnelma videolla ja varsinkin noi lyriikat suorastaan heittävät tämän toisenlaiseen valoon.
- Ah, vapaapäivä. Ja mitäs tuolla internetin horisontissa kimaltelee? Decomposuren juuri julkaistu ja vieläpä ilmaiseksi tarjoiltu albumi nimeltään Humidity Patient Guide. Ooh, goodie - abstraktia pääntakomista kevyesti.

Tällä hetkellä on pienoinen headfuck päällänsä.
- "In an era when "everybody's music collection is the same" thanks to file swapping, collecting expensive, unwieldy LPs is a conspicuous way for the superfans to advertise their cognoscenti status."
- Kotimaisesta 1960-luvun elektronimusiikista on tehty ensimmäinen väitöskirja.
